ENDED- ChicoBag Produce Stand Starter Kit Giveaway and Review



Boy was I thrilled when ChicoBag agreed to send me a Produce Bag Complete Started Kit to review. This set comes with 3 Produce bags and a storage pouch.





The first bag is the ChicoBag rePete bag made from recycled water bottles making it perfect for squash, broccoli, carrots and celery.









The second one is a ChicoBag Hemp-Cotton bag. This bag is perfect for salad greens and green beans. They recommend that you wet the bag to to help lock in the moisture.







The third bag is the ChicoBag rePete mesh bag which is made from recycled plastic water bottles and is perfect for produce that emit high amounts of ethylene gas. The mesh is perfect for this type of produce to help allow the gases to escape. Which helps lengthen the life of this produce. High ethylene produce include apples, avocados, pears, apricots, cantaloupe, onions, potatoes, and oranges.


And cant forget about the cute little pouch that conveniently holds all three bags.

MY REVIEW:
I am in love with these bags! I have been wanting produce bags but never bought any. These work out great. I love how each bag has a label with details on the inside of what produce the bag is perfect for. The bags are easy to wrap back up to stick back into the little storage pouch. These are very convenient to use and high quality. They are easily washed by just tossing them into the washing machine. I feel these live up to the ChicoBag name!

  14. I'm not in need of any more product bags, but wanted to comment about how much I love their hemp product bags. They are the only bag I used for lettuce. Good luck to all those who are entering the contest!

  50. Did you take these to the grocery store and use them instead of getting the plastic bags? I'm wondering about the weight, like if you use them for produce that is sold by the pound, do they add any weight? I'm guessing they only weigh a few ounces, but I thought they might weigh more than the plastic bags. I'd still prefer them over the plastic bags...it would just be nice to know if I'm just under a pound or something.

    Anyway, I like all of the produce bags.
